CUPEC Cloud support
Back to
the conversation.
A practical guide to getting connected, talking to the app and using your workspace.
Connection & chat
“Connection interrupted” or “Connection lost”
Check that your iPhone or iPad has internet access. Open the app’s settings and choose Reconnect. Keep the app open while the connection settles.
A server marked online can still have an interrupted chat connection. If reconnecting fails, note the exact error and time, then contact the administrator who supplied your workspace.
I can’t sign in.
Use the exact server and sign-in method supplied for your approved workspace. CUPEC Cloud does not currently offer open registration. See the access guide if you have not been given workspace access.
For a forgotten password or revoked access, contact your workspace administrator. Don’t share your password with another person for troubleshooting.
How do I stop an answer?
Use the chat’s Stop control while a response is running. With a connected controller, press X. You can then revise the question or send a follow-up.
Where are my companies or charts?
Available records and tools depend on your workspace. Some preview workspaces have sample records, restricted tools and daily usage limits; they do not provide every capability shown by an owner workspace. Ask which source and date an answer uses, and treat missing data as unknown. The beta preview does not promise a complete company universe, a public live stock feed or trade execution.
AI sharing & your choices
The first AI request opens an AI data sharing notice. Read the connected server and model details, then choose Allow and continue or Not now. Declining keeps your draft and attachments in the app instead of sending them.
The default approved workspace routes requests through OpenRouter to the selected model provider, such as DeepSeek. Any saved About You context may be included to personalize replies. Read how processing works.
To turn sharing off, open Settings → Privacy → Revoke AI sharing. The next request will ask again. Revoking stops future sharing; use Stop separately for a running response. It does not delete messages already sent.
Settings also contains links to the privacy notice, this support guide and open-source licenses. Optional notifications depend on your workspace’s capabilities and your iPhone permissions.
Voice & permissions
Voice is optional. You can always type into the normal chat.
- Start dictation in CUPEC Cloud and allow Microphone and Speech Recognition when iOS asks.
- If you previously declined, open iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security, then check Microphone and Speech Recognition for CUPEC Cloud. App-specific permissions may also appear under Settings → Apps → CUPEC Cloud.
- With a controller, hold RT, speak, then release to transcribe and send. Press X to cancel.
This Cloud app uses Apple Speech for recognition. On-device recognition is used where supported; otherwise Apple’s speech service may process the audio. The resulting text is processed like a chat message. Read the voice privacy details.
A controller is an addition.
Pair your compatible controller in iPhone or iPad Bluetooth settings, then return to CUPEC Cloud. Controller setup is available from Chat options. Normal touch controls remain available.
| Control | Action |
|---|---|
| D-pad / left stick | Move selection |
| A | Select the highlighted item |
| B | Go back |
| X | Stop a response or cancel voice |
| Hold RT | Talk; release to send |
| Right stick | Scroll |
For Xbox pairing, switch the controller on, then hold its small pairing button until the Xbox light flashes rapidly. Choose it in iPhone Settings → Bluetooth. The large Xbox button is the power button, not the pairing button.
Your Linux workspace
Open the desktop control from chat to view the workspace you are authorized to use. A shared workspace is the same remote computer across its authorized sessions.
- Wait for the workspace view to connect.
- Use Take control for manual interaction, or the available resume control for permitted AI actions.
- To discuss something on screen, open the camera menu and choose Add screenshot to chat.
- Review the screenshot in your draft, add a question and send when ready.
If a website shows a security check or access denial in the cloud browser, that website may restrict cloud-network access. The app does not override those restrictions. Use the site’s supported access route or ask your administrator for help.
Still stuck?
First contact the administrator who provided your workspace. For a general CUPEC inquiry or to find the right app contact, use the club’s existing public Instagram channel.
Make the issue easy to reproduce.
Include your device model, iOS version, what you pressed, the exact error and when it happened. An optional screenshot helps after you remove private information.
Never send your password, API key, payment details or a confidential conversation.
